Profile

The Project Manager – KSA role requires the successful candidate to:

  • Provide the project management of single (large) and multiple (smaller) projects within an overall master programme of works
  • Be involved in managing all disciplines within the business along with external supply chain management
  • Take a project end to end and ensure compliance with the business process
  • Be responsible for the overall planning co-ordination and control of projects from inception to completion; aimed at meeting client’s requirements, in order to produce a functionally and financially-viable project that will be complete on-time, within budget and to the required quality standards

Duties and responsibilities

  • This exciting opportunity involves working through pre and post contract stages of the project life cycle as follows:

Pre contract:

  • Assisting the project tendering function; particularly in scheduling and resourcing.

Post contract:

  • Specifying project objectives and plans including delineation of scope, budgeting, scheduling, setting performance requirements, and selecting of project sub-contractors and supply chain
  • Maximising resource efficiency (labour, materials and equipment)
  • Implementing various operations through proper coordination and control of planning, contracting and construction in the entire process
  • Maintaining accurate records of construction progress throughout the projects life cycle
  • Responsible for overview of the construction sites, and management of vendors and trades
  • In addition, keep good communication between the clients and their consultants at all times

Key responsibilities

  • Project management, planning and cost management
  • Time management, quality management and contract administration
  • Safety management
  • This will also involve responsibility for specific activities e.g. defining the responsibilities and management structure of the project management team; organising and leading by implementing project controls; defining roles and responsibilities and developing communication protocols, as well as identifying elements of project design and construction likely to give rise to buildability issues, potential delays and life-cycle defects problems

Personal qualities

We are looking for a skilled and versatile Project Manager in KSA who:

  • Has a minimum of 8-10 years similar experience in an interior fit-out contracting company
  • Is capable of effectively managing single or multiple projects from award of project and through the different stages of implementation to handover
  • Has very strong technical and commercial abilities.
  • Can demonstrate a proven track record as a successful leader in a fit out contracting business
  • Has a very good knowledge of the KSA market (i.e. network of clients, sub-contractors and suppliers)
